Transformational breathing

Breathing is our life force, our chi, our energy. The way we breathe shows how we live our lives. Transformational breathing is a powerful, self healing technique that helps us connect to our breath and correct old restricted breathing patterns.

By using this technique we are able to integrate and clear past dramas and traumas. We are all unique, we all have a story and as human beings we all have emotional baggage. From birth trauma, to early childhood experiences, teenage angst and being in our 20’s not knowing who we are and where we are going. We hold onto repressed and suppressed emotions that can prevent us from being in our full potential.

We can see what we are doing but we just don’t know how to fix it. Again and again we play the same patterns and we wonder why. We have our flight or fight system that when we feel certain emotions we hold onto our breath and therefore we hold onto our memories on a cellular level and this technique helps us to release them. The body remembers everything and the essence of this work is about coming back to our true selves. Who we were/are before we built up these energetic blockages in our body.

For example, in our hearts we feel love but we also experience a lot of other emotions such as shame, guilt, fear, anger and grief. By helping to let go of these emotions we are able to fully open our hearts and receive and express love. In our diaphragm we hold onto fear of expression and receiving fromĀ others. With the breath not only are we exploring these feelings but we are also allowing them rather than hiding them away.

By letting go we can transform fear into excitement and so on. A lot of us our lacking in self-esteem and this technique helps us to be confident in our feminine power. Transformational breathing enables us to truly love ourselves, even the parts that we don’t particularly like. Some of these parts are deep rooted and buried in our subconscious but the breath never lies and with this technique we track them, hold them and release them in a gentle and non-invasive way.

This work is not about re-living the past, it’s about letting go and looking forward. By working with the chakra systems and the breath we look at where there are blockages that may be preventing us from being in our power and our sensuality. By accepting our vulnerability we learn to accept all of our feelings, which is the foundation of deep intimacy with ourselves and others. Transformational breathing is a powerful technique that helps us to reach our sensual potential.
